The Ahirani language (अहिराणी)
Ahirani is also called Khandeshi. People speak it across Khandesh.
About the language
People write Ahirani in the Devanagari script. It is close to Marathi. Gujarati and Hindi, spoken by neighbours of Khandesh, have also influenced it. Several local forms exist, and they vary from area to area.
